ROBERTS® 2038 is a solvent-free latex-based asphalt emulsion adhesive developed for the installation of vinyl composition tile (VCT) flooring. This is a black thin spread with superior holding power that resists tile shifting. It can be used over existing black out adhesive residue. 
Powered by Microban® this antimicrobial product protection helps fight the growth of stain and odor-causing bacteria that can cause product degradation.
Made in Canada, it offers a 2-year shelf life from date of production when stored in original unopened container. Environmentally friendly formulation with VOC less than 2 g/L.

• Solvent-free, latex-based asphalt Emulsion / SBR formulation for superior holding power
• For installation of vinyl composition tile (VCT) flooring
• Concrete, CANPLY/APA rated plywood, underlayment grade oriented strand board (lightly sanded), one layer of well bonded, existing VCT (free of wax/ finish), terrazzo and properly prepared and primed gypsum underlayments (ASTM F2419).
• For indoor use only
• 8-12 hours working time, approximately 45 minutes tack time, and a 24-hour cure time
• Low VOC, environmentally friendly, LEED® compliant formulation; VOC < 2 g/L
• Moisture Control Adhesive with up to 5 lbs. MVER and 80% RH

• Covers up to 17.6 sq. meters (190 sq. ft. per gallon) depending on trowel type, substrate and installation conditions
